I am an amateur / hobbyist photographer from the Staffordshire Moorlands just on the edge of the Peak District.

I purchased my first DSLR camera back in 2011, for the first year it was never out of auto but then I started to learn how to use it properly and haven't looked back since.

I love various kinds of photography with landscapes being top of the list, I struggle to get out often enough but when I do I love discovering new places in the UK. I enjoy my garden so it goes hand in hand with flower photography and the occasional macro shot of the bugs that like it too.

I have joined a couple of local camera clubs which has introduced me to new photographic ideas and challenges but has also enabled me to make lots of new friends. Through these clubs I have entered various competitions and had images printed in local newspapers.
